I’m willing to forgive SAULIRE STAR one bad run as her form prior to that was really hard to knock. If you look back she bumped into the progressive Shine On Brendan who is still on a winning run now and then went down just a length to My Little Queens. She beat The Resdev Way at Ripon on penultimate start and still has potential off her current mark (dropped 2lb since that last run). I think as long as she gets a decent pace to run down she is the most likely winner in here. The yard also saddle Thakuri and in all honesty it could easily be a 1-2 for them here. She was only beaten narrowly into fourth at Musselburgh and with further improvement likely she should be able to get involved. Jamih was nibbled at last night but he is on a lengthy losing run and to me doesn’t make much appeal from a win point of view.

I think the market has got this wrong in terms of how short Rock Girl is for George Boughey. She improved to go down a length at Lingfield last time and is clearly a nice enough type but then so could be GRACE ANGEL and she looks the play at the prices. She is by Harry Angel and acquitted herself well in a decent race at Windsor last month. She goes handicapping now off an opening mark of 70 and I think that could underestimate her. She should get a nice toe in off Puffable and might always be in the box seat to take advantage. Rock Girl is still the danger as Wedgewood will likely need more time and experience to be seen to best effect. It’s an intriguing race though and one that may well end up working out okay in time. Puffable is unexposed but if she goes hard she might just end up setting it up for the others.
