INTERCESSOR appeared to benefit from a drop back in trip when scoring over C&D last Thursday and a repeat of that performance may suffice, despite carrying a 5lb penalty. New Heights boasts a consistent level of form and is likely to enter the reckoning, with the drop back to an extended mile potentially suiting, while Daphne May is another with valid claims.
Prediction : 1st Intercessor 2nd New Heights 3rd Daphne May

COURAGEOUS KNIGHT sets the standard based on finishing second at Haydock and Doncaster last month and the application of cheekpieces may also help in getting Charlie Appleby's colt to shed the maiden tag. Kingdom Of Dreams stepped forward considerably from his debut when fifth at Doncaster and he could be dangerous if allowed to make the running again. Acotango wasn't disgraced on his racecourse bow behind the subsequent Superlative runner-up, Victory Dance, at Newmarket and he is entitled to improve.
Prediction : 1st Courageous Knight 2nd Kingdom Of Dreams 3rd Acotango

WISPER produced a career-best performance when landing a third victory at Brighton last week and the four-year-old may prove tough to beat if in a similar vein of form. Gangway bounced back from a below-par display when runner-up at Wolverhampton last time and he commands plenty of respect along with Night Of Luxury, who wasn't disgraced at a higher level when fourth at Sandown on his latest outing.
Prediction : 1st Wisper 2nd Gangway 3rd Night Of Luxury

Last year's winner OTAGO get the vote to repeat the feat running off the same mark as he did 12 months ago. The Jim Boyle-trained five-year-old didn't get the clearest of passages when fourth over C&D last week and, given more luck this time around, he may record his third track win. The biggest threat could come from Starshiba, who was just touched off at Ayr last month when the first-time hood appeared to do the trick. Flame of Freedom is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Otago 2nd Starshiba 3rd Flame of Freedom

IDEAL GUEST looks very hard to oppose having been a cosy winner of his last two starts at Brighton last month. Although he's been given a 6lb hike for his latest success, he's looked a rejuvenated character since the visor was applied and this looks an ideal opportunity to get his hat-trick up. City Vaults is having his first run in handicap company having been gelded and also having had a wind operation, so any support for him on his seasonal debut would be significant. Edinson Kevani also makes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Ideal Guest 2nd City Vaults 3rd Edinson Kevani

CAIUS CHORISTER was one of the most easiest winners of the season so far when winning by an extraordinary 19 lengths over C&D last week, and a 6lb penalty may not be enough to stop her winning her fourth race on the bounce. Night Eagle is a dual winner at this track and is also two from two under Rhys Clutterbuck. The application of blinkers looks have helped Cabrakan and the three-year-old isn't easily dismissed.
Prediction : 1st Caius Chorister 2nd Night Eagle 3rd Cabrakan
