Kind Spirit showed promise over this distance at Musselburgh on his latest outing, but the vote goes to KISS N CUDDLE. David Evans' charge kept on to win a seller on his most recent outing and a step up in trip does not look set to faze him given the nature of the aforementioned success. Bara Lacha completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Kiss N Cuddle 2nd Kind Spirit 3rd Bara Lacha

A return to drier ground could see CLIPSHAM GOLD record her best run to date. She was only denied by a head on her penultimate outing at Doncaster on good to firm ground and remains relatively unexposed. The Grey Wolf has been in decent form of late and the gelding is likely to be in the mix, while Lincoln Pride and Argirl are considered for each-way purposes.
Prediction : 1st Clipsham Gold 2nd The Grey Wolf 3rd Lincoln Pride

QABILAH seemed to appreciate a stiffer test of stamina on her most recent outing and kept on to win by three-quarters of a length at Nottingham over 1m2f. She gets a three-year-old allowance and, despite having to shoulder a penalty for her latest success, looks a key contender once more. Sea Speedwell represents a stable in excellent form and has to enter calculations following her victory at Kempton in December, while connections of Game Master seek further improvement in their gelding by reaching for cheekpieces.
Prediction : 1st Qabilah 2nd Sea Speedwell 3rd Game Master

The step back down to a mile seemed to suit MAJESTIC FIGHTER when he was just touched off at Doncaster in May and although he is 3lb higher after that effort, the son of Teofilo looks the type to progress. The Kevin Frost-trained Master Of Combat got off the mark in impressive style last time, although an 8lb rise slightly tempers enthusiasm. The biggest threat could come from Shaladar, who has improved for the step up in trip and may still be well treated.
Prediction : 1st Majestic Fighter 2nd Shaladar 3rd Master Of Combat

The Charlie Fellowes-trained FRESH HOPE was a respectable sixth in the Sandringham at Royal Ascot last month, despite having looked to be on the wrong side of the draw. She was a narrow winner at Doncaster prior to that run with Jamie Spencer in the saddle that day and he renews the partnership again here. Spacer was last seen finishing sixth behind Jimi Hendrix at Haydock in May and that form has been boosted since. Although Devasboy was a beaten favourite at Chester last week, nothing went right for him on that occasion and he may be worth another chance.
Prediction : 1st Fresh Hope 2nd Spacer 3rd Devasboy

16:10 Leicester

LETHAL ANGEL was a comfortable winner at Brighton last month on her second start for Brett Johnson and gets the vote. The seven-year-old still looks well treated on old form and she may be too much for this field now that the mare's trainer appears to have found the key to her. Creek Harbour ran his best race for a while when fourth at Chepstow last time and could go well if in the same mood. Another worth noting may be the Les Eyre-trained Hilary's Boy, who won twice last autumn and looks to have been given a chance by the handicapper.
Prediction : 1st Lethal Angel 2nd Creek Harbour 3rd Hilarys Boy

In a moderate event, the marginal preference is for BIG TIME MAYBE, who made the frame in a similar contest over 5f at Bath a couple of weeks ago. Twilight Bay has shown promise on her last couple of starts and it would be no surprise to see her go well today. Others to note are Lady Mander, Burtonwood and Babe Alicious.
Prediction : 1st Big Time Maybe 2nd Twilight Bay 3rd Lady Mander

17:10 Leicester

ARMY OF ONE remains a maiden but she has made the frame twice in recent months and the five-year-old will not find many better opportunities than this to get off the mark. Perfect Myth appears to be the main danger having hit the crossbar at Chepstow a couple of starts ago. Mohassana edges out Blazer Two to be the pick of the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Army Of One 2nd Perfect Myth 3rd Mohassana
