I’ve been waiting to see CASTLE STAR all season and I’m confident he can make a winning return here. It’s obviously a good race being a Group 2 so it won’t be easy to make a winning reappearance but I think this colt could be pretty smart and his Middle Park second to Perfect Power looks strong form now. He won over C&D as a 2yo as well and clearly has plenty going for him. There is potential for a relentless gallop with the likes of Geocentric, Last Crusader, New York City and even Brostaigh all likely to go forward. He will be ridden quietly and if he gets the splits under Billy Lee may well be finishing best of all. Mooneista has rock solid form in the book but she has been on the go a while already and as we know doesn’t find huge amounts off the bridle. Equilateral was an excellent fifth to Nature Strip in the King’s Stand and then was badly hampered in the Coral Charge. He could bounce back and be the danger.
