There doesn't look to be anything of that quality lurking in this field so she gets the nod. Chuck Taylor showed considerable improvement when chasing a short-priced favourite home at Hamilton last time and has potential to improve again. Little Hug was very green on debut at Newmarket and is entitled to have learnt plenty for that experience.

The Karl Burke-trained ALEXA'S PRINCESS was surprisingly weak in the betting when third in a Chelmsford nursery earlier this month but this drop in trip and return to turf may see her in a better light. Twilight Tryst and She's A Rocket both step up in trip for their first starts in handicap company and any market support for either of them should be taken seriously.

Although Able Kane was a most impressive winner at Ffos Las 10 days ago, a 5lb penalty and this shorter trip makes him vulnerable. The Bryan Smart-trained PARISIAC has his first start in handicap company having been gelded since last seen, he has some smart two-year-old form to his name and a mark of 89 may underestimate his ability. Juan Les Pins won at the first time of asking for Michael Appleby when he was an easy scorer at Newbury last week and, although he carries a penalty, he looks dangerous.

Thundershower (first) got the better of VALLEY MIST (second) when the pair met over C&D last month but the latter may just have the edge on this occasion as she is 4lb better off. The daughter of Dubawi had taken a decent step forward from her debut and similar improvement could see her overcome John and Thady Gosden's filly. Nigwa is out of a Group 3 winner and isn't discounted on her racecourse bow.

OPERATING got off the mark on his third attempt at Windsor having shown promise on both his starts prior and the colt is likely to have further progression to come with his attentions now switched to handicap company. Fast Medicine was an easy winner over C&D in April before not being able to back that performance up in a competitive Newmarket handicap. He has been freshened up since and is likely to be in the mix, along with Larado, with the step back up in trip a plus for him.

KINGDOM GIRL has every chance of building on her latest effort at Leicester, with a drop in class sure to help. She has only gone up 1lb for that latest performance and gets the vote ahead of Lilandra, who could well be hot on her heels. A return to this track could also see Girl Inthe Picture get closer into contention.

The application of first-time blinkers could help Liberated Lad have a say in proceedings, but preference is for DR RIO. Nonsuch Lad is another worthy of consideration.
