I still think GRACES QUEST is progressing so off the same mark that saw her chase home stablemate Wickywickywheels last week she could find herself back in the winners enclosure here. She is obviously well bred being by Telescope so I think there is good reason to think she can still defy her current mark. She likely wasn’t at her best at Hamilton last time but still ran on well for second and back at this track if getting the gaps I’m confident she can pick these up. Shannon Watts has been booked for the ride so she claims a handy 5lb which will help too. Witham River is the closest in the betting but he was way down the field at York last time and has enough to prove off the back of that. Tendentious also completely blew out at York last time but he did win at Doncaster before that and if bouncing back might be the danger.

This is quite a trappy race but at 10/3 I’ve got to put forward recent Stratford winner SIR TIVO. He was hugely progressive over fences last year winning 6 times in all and jumped really well to get himself back in the winners enclosure last time. The fourth Larch Hill won yesterday beating Mick Pastor to frank the form and he is off just a 2lb higher mark so I don’t see why he won’t go close here. Lermoos Legend is favourite and did win impressively here last month. He has been beaten off 116 since though and is up to 120 now so this is no easy task especially at a shorter price. Tonto's Spirit always has to be feared around here but he was behind Dr Sanderson last time and while he is off a handy mark I’m not seeing enough for me to get involved. The latter isn’t out of it either despite being 6lb higher here.
