Like the majority of races today this is another competitive event but I did think EMBLA was a little overpriced. A bit of a weird thing to say about a maiden but she hasn’t had a massive amount of chances and I think there could still be more to come yet. She was freshened up before that Chelmsford run but failed to give her running on that occasion just caught a bit wide and probably launching her effort too soon. She ran better back down to 6f at Thirsk where she was only beaten 4 lengths. This is weak and if she can build on that with this track having the potential to suit I think she might go close. She will need to settle so it will be interesting to see if she goes forward as I think that might help her if she is able to dictate. The danger is likely Monaadhil who won at Chelmsford and while he blew out last time he is quite clearly better than that.
