It was good to see SACRED BRIDGE back in the winners enclosure at Cork back in May. She did just enough on that occasion and the second Ladies Church has since won a Group 2 at the Curragh to frank the form. I know the selection was down the field in the Commonwealth Cup last month but that was a tough ask and I’m confident she can bounce back in these calmer waters. She has still only had the 8 starts and given she is proven at this level she is fancied to come away with the prize. Ano Syra has progressed nicely in handicaps winning 3 of her last 4 and 4 from her last 5 overall. She deserves a crack at this level now and might be the one to give the selection most to think about. Contarelli Chapel won over C&D as a 2yo but has been lightly raced since and might do better for the run. At a bigger price it wouldn’t surprise me to see Pirate Jenny hit the frame.
