PROFOUND ALEXANDER shaped with plenty of promise when a half-length second on her comeback run at Beverley and, entitled to improve for that first outing since last August, she gets the vote to go one better. Ruby Port arrives following solid efforts at both Beverley (two places behind Profound Alexander) and Hamilton and she is likely to give another good account, while Glorious Peaches cannot be ruled out either.

It's no secret that Harry Davies is excellent value for his 5lb claim, so with him aboard for the first time, ALAFDHAL looks primed to go close again here for Phil McEntee. The four-year-old followed up his victory at Yarmouth with a close third at Wolverhampton earlier this month and he can go well off the same mark as that latest effort. Ustath was a close second at Hamilton last week and can get involved if in the same form, while Company Minx is starting to look well handicapped and could make the frame.

If returning from a break in the same form as when successful at Kempton back in March, MADAME FENELLA can take this off just a 2lb higher mark. She's still lightly raced so with more improvement entirely possible, Derek Shaw's filly looks the most likely winner. Coast finally got off the mark at Wolverhampton a fortnight ago and although 6lb higher here, she's likely to be involved again. Hachert needs to bounce back after a poor showing last time but is capable of winning this if putting his best foot forward.
