He ran a respectable race on debut in a bumper at the Punchestown Festival and was tried in a winners contest at Bellewstown on his most recent start. He again was far from disgraced at the Co Meath venue and it'll be interesting to see how he fares now, starting off over hurdles and taking a significant drop-in class. Market support for the Ronan McNally trained Ithaka would make him of definite interest, while others for the shortlist are Gekkota, Glendaars Star and Itso Vango.

A strong case can be made for nearly every runner in the field. Daisy Dufresne, Kilbarry Chianti and Downtown Queen all won last time out and are sure to be popular with punters. Daisy Dufresne got up in the final strides to prevail at Sligo and should appreciate this step-up in trip. A winner at Wexford in June, Jakes Dream is fitted with cheekpieces for the first time and should give a good account of herself with Richie Condon taking a valuable 7lb off. GOOD BYE MILAN also won at Wexford earlier in the summer and the locally trained five-year-old gets the nod. She went down by just a length on her most recent visit to Greenmount Park and ran well to finish fourth of 19 when last seen at Cork earlier this month. This trip of 2m4f should suit her well and with Gavin Brouder claiming 5lb, she can be expected to go close.

THE BIG CHAP was a bit disappointing at Tipperary last month but might be able to bounce back here. In the colours of 2011 Galway Hurdle winner Moon Dice, the five-year-old was successful at Greenmount Park on his penultimate start, on what was his debut in handicap company. He since finished sixth of 17 to Moving Water at Tipperary and is fitted with a tongue-strap for the first time now. Rotten Row, for the father and son team of Tony and Danny Mullins, is an interesting contender on his first start in handicap company. He won a bumper when trained by Joseph O'Brien and had plenty of subsequent winners in behind when seventh on his most recent start at Naas in February. Recent Bellewstown winner Inforapenny is sure to have plenty of supporters and it'll come as no surprise if he manages to follow up, while others of interest are Pale Blue Dot, Rock On Seamie and Grozini.

This looks a match between the Gordon Elliott pair of THE BOSSES OSCAR and Dallas Des Pictons, with preference for the former. Rated 4lb higher than his stablemate, the selection is the choice of Jack Kennedy. After some very disappointing efforts over the winter months, the Oscar gelding returned to form when fourth at Killarney in May, filling the runner-up spot at Wexford on his most recent start. Dallas Des Pictons is without a win since October of 2019 but has some solid recent form to his name. A respectable 12th of 22 in the Pertemps at the Cheltenham Festival on his penultimate start, he was since disappointing over fences at Tramore. Chiricahua drops in trip after a lacklustre effort at Kilbeggan last month and it'll be interesting to see how he fares, while Mustameet Secret and Kilmurry Jj are out of their depth.

A competitive contest that makes little appeal from a betting perspective. While vulnerable to one lurking under the radar, HE'S LEADING ME ON looks the safest option. Placed on his last four starts, the Leslie Young trained five-year-old might finally get his turn here. Golden Sandbanks is given second preference. He failed to make an impact on the level recently but was a good fourth on his last try over flights. Grinn was a fast-finishing third at Kilbeggan on Friday last and a reproduction of that performance should see her go close. Boston Brahim was three-parts-of-a-length behind the selection when they clashed at Roscommon last month and so he warrants respect, while others of interest are Joyful Noise, Uppertown Mya, Finnians Row and Strong Roots (first time cheekpieces).

JENNY'S GETAWAY, for the father and daughter team of Pat and Susie Doyle, gets the nod in this wide-open contest. The seven-year-old is a consistent sort and has yet to finish outside the top five in her eight starts to date. She was a solid fifth at Cork recently and should appreciate this step-up in trip to 3m. The Holmeister made the breakthrough at Ballinrobe on Monday and is sure to be towards the head of the betting if turning out again quickly. Donie Murphy is represented by Roped In and Raven Queen and they both look to have strong claims, while top-weight Willaston warrants respect, fitted with cheekpieces for the first time. It'll be interesting to see how Alfieri fares. The Ross O'Sullivan trained gelding was a facile winner at Tipperary last month but was disappointing a few days later at Roscommon when attempting to follow-up. Good Man Turk, Icee M B A and The Abbey are other leading contenders.

A difficult contest to assess. Willie Mullins saddles Elle Klassycco and while she warrants respect, her debut effort in the Goffs Land Rover Bumper at the Punchestown Festival was uninspiring. Gordon Elliott is represented by Ellaria Moon, Iconography and newcomer Ginnets Girl. The latter is the most interesting of the three, with Harry Swan taking the ride. For a selection, LIGHT OF LIFE fits the bill. A fine fourth of 17 on her sole start at Cork, she should come on plenty for that experience. Derek O'Connor is a positive jockey booking and it'll be disappointing if she is not involved towards the business end here. Ah Fuhgeddaboudit flopped at Roscommon but is capable of making her presence felt, while Shes Overlooked, who was just a place behind the selection at Cork, is another with definite claims.
