The improving ZANBAQ looks a good bet to gain compensation for her near-miss at Royal Ascot last month. Now I think the best horse won in the shape of Heredia but it was quite clear she was a little unlucky in second, just stopped in her stride at a crucial stage. The third Crenelle looks promising too so while the winner has been beaten since that came in a tactical affair at Sandown so I do still have hope the form will work out. The selection has more to come after just the four starts and off a 6lb higher mark I can see her finishing best of all here under Jim Crowley. It should set up nicely with the likes of Snooze N You Lose, Novemba and Eidikos all pushing forward. The main danger looks to be Jumbly who won 3 from 4 as a 2yo and has been highly tried this campaign. She should give her running.

No Nay Never colt CATCH THE PADDY is hard to oppose at York on Saturday. He bumped into Queen Olly miles clear from the rest on debut over C&D before improving to finish second again at Leicester. That form has worked out notably well since with the winner being pitched into the Coventry before chasing home Persian Force in the July Stakes. The fifth Kiss N Cuddle has won his next two as well, most notably really impressing at Leicester last time. The selection progressed again to open his account at Hamilton, going away at the line. He goes handicapping now off a mark of 82 and you’d be foolish to rule out more to come. Florida Filly is eyeing up a hat-trick and has been impressing so she looks the danger now handicapping off 81. Dare To Hope can also step forward but was poor in the Super Sprint last time.
