I’ve got to be with LETHAL LEVI after that emphatic success in a hot 3yo handicap over C&D at the July meeting. He travelled powerfully throughout and there was an air of inevitability about that performance as he went clear and then kept up the gallop, just ridden out close home. For me he has always threatened to be pretty smart and I feel like Karl Burke is really getting the best out of him now. He is up 7lb and is off a career-high mark now but I’ve always thought he could mix it off this sort of mark so I’m not about to abandon him now. They have booked Pierre-Louis Jamin for the ride so he claims a handy 3lb which will help. Only the 9 runners so I can see him going forward and looking to make all again but as we have seen in the past he is versatile. I’m A Gambler looks the danger having got back to form at Hamilton and at a bigger price Wowzers could also run well.
