DANDY SPIRIT won as he pleased at Pontefract last time, finishing well clear after making all. Roger Fell has taken the decision to bring him out quickly under a penalty, which may prove wise as he is due to race off 3lb higher in the near future. Gullane One wasn't beaten far at Ayr last time and could go well off 1lb lower in this, while Foreseeable Future has claims after going close at Yarmouth.
Prediction : 1st Dandy Spirit 2nd Gullane One 3rd Foreseeable Future

Candle Of Hope was a comfortable winner at Newbury on debut and is well worth a second glance, but she has to give weight to FAHARI, which may prove too much. Simon and Ed Crisford's filly ran a solid race at Catterick last time and could prove a tough nut to crack in this. Haughty was a good second on good to soft at Haydock and has a chance if handling this ground, while Gone is interesting on debut for Charlie and Mark Johnston.
Prediction : 1st Fahari 2nd Candle Of Hope 3rd Haughty

Run Cmc won well at Musselburgh two starts ago and could be happier back in this grade after struggling in the Super Sprint at Newbury last time. He is only rated 1lb higher than MISS BRAZEN, though, and Karl Burke's filly gets 5lb from him. A good winner on debut at Redcar, the daughter of Brazen Beau was a decent second over this trip at Hamilton last time and could go one better here. Lupset Flossy Pop is also respected after a fair third at Hamilton latest.
Prediction : 1st Miss Brazen 2nd Run Cmc 3rd Lupset Flossy Pop

All three contenders arrive on the back of a first career win and preference is for the Michael Bell-trained METAHORSE, who kept on strongly to land the spoils at Chester last time out. The progressive juvenile gets the nod, while Urban Sprawl rates the most immediate danger after making all at Catterick 16 days ago. Gulmarg can follow them home.
Prediction : 1st Metahorse 2nd Urban Sprawl 3rd Gulmarg

15:25 Thirsk

BAZALGETTE gave a good account to finish third on seasonal reappearance and it would be no surprise to see the three-year-old take a step forward in this contest. The Mick Channon-trained gelding gets the nod off an unchanged mark, while Cobra Kai must be respected after shedding the maiden tag on his penultimate outing. Caracristi is edging in the right direction and completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Bazalgette 2nd Cobra Kai 3rd Caracristi

16:00 Thirsk

PINK CRYSTAL finished third on her handicap debut at Wolverhampton at the beginning of the month after getting outpaced at a crucial point. The daughter of Shamardal makes her turf debut and is entitled to improve on what she has achieved to date. Woodlands Charm arrives in terrific form having won three of her last four starts, while others to consider are Emeralds Pride and Burning Emotion.
Prediction : 1st Pink Crystal 2nd Woodlands Charm 3rd Emeralds Pride

16:35 Thirsk

A fiercely competitive handicap to round things off, but OASIS PRINCE could give weight and a beating to these rivals. He won impressively over this trip at Catterick last time and looks capable of defying a 6lb rise in the ratings. Hellenista and Carlos Felix have both been running consistently well and are obvious dangers, while Stormbreaker also warrants respect stretching out in distance.
Prediction : 1st Oasis Prince 2nd Hellenista 3rd Carlos Felix
