She's been raised 5lb for that narrow win but if improving for that outing, she could go close again, while Arcadian Friend is one to watch in the betting on his handicap debut for Sir Mark Prescott.

The biggest danger could be Neandra after a good third at Leicester last time, while Cappoquin is another to keep an eye on in a fascinating contest.

ROCKING ENDS was a good winner of a 5f contest at Salisbury before far from disgracing himself in the Windsor Castle Stakes at Royal Ascot, so this son of Havana Grey looks to have a good chance of taking this contest now dropped back in class. George Boughey has an interesting newcomer in the shape of Crown Land, who could give Brett Johnson's gelding something to think about, while Mia Paradis should also be in the mix.

BRYNTEG can take this if settling better than when third at Brighton last month. He stayed on well there and, off the same mark, is fully capable of winning what looks an open race. The biggest danger could be Kenilworth King, who went close at Wolverhampton 12 days ago on his first run since March. Raised only 1lb for that, he should be on the premises, while Trans Montana is another to consider after a good second on her seasonal debut at Chepstow recently.

COUNSEL has been a consistent performer for John and Thady Gosden and this looks like a good opportunity for the four-year-old following a string of good efforts in defeat. Kieran O'Neil takes the ride and the step down to 7f from a mile appears likely to be the perfect tonic for him. King of The Dance was a good third on debut over 6f at Wolverhampton and is entitled to have more to offer with that experience under his belt, while Salcombe Storm looks to be an interesting debutant for Richard Hannon.

Shigar is another who is likely to improve after his fourth over 7f at Doncaster last time and could be thereabouts.

BREACH just prevailed in a blanket finish over 6f at this venue last time and, stepped up to 7f, this looks like a good chance for John Butler's three-year-old to score once more off only 1lb higher. Public Opinion was a winner on her penultimate start over 6f at this track, before disappointing last time at Wolverhampton over 7f, and could bounce back here, while Melodramatica has run well at Lingfield in the past and it would be no shock to see her challenging right to the line.

Hector Loza was a winner last time over 7f at Epsom, winning comfortably by one and a half lengths, but having been raised 4lb for that success, Jim Boyle's five-year-old may be vulnerable in this field, specifically to CATCH MY BREATH. The selection ran a good race when third at Ayr last time, beaten by just a length and a quarter by a horse who had won his previous start, and John Ryan's runner appears likely to be thereabouts off the same mark today.
