Having won cosily at Salisbury on debut, GOOD AMERICAN slightly fluffed her lines on the Rowley Mile a month a later in the Oh So Sharp Stakes. She is making her seasonal reappearance now and an opening mark of 88 appears fair. Divine Magic was a comfortable winner at Leicester earlier in the month and she looks sure to be competitive off a 2lb higher mark. The drop in trip isn't sure to suit Dubai Love, although she was a fair third in Listed company at Pontefract and this should be easier.

FRANCESCO CLEMENTE made an impressive debut in the Wood Ditton on the Rowley Mile and built on that victory when upped to this trip at Sandown. He comfortably beat subsequent Duke Of Edinburgh runner-up Ajero that day and there looks to be a lot more to come from this exciting son of Dubawi. Menai Bridge has been competing at a higher level than Miramichi and could beat him to second spot, with Love Is Golden capable but not the most consistent.

Pure Dreamer, whose winning run was halted at Doncaster, features prominently in calculations too.
