Capital Offence looks an interesting newcomer as a son of Acclamation and he is one to watch first time out, though a lack of experience is a negative. Tatterstall may head the market after his two placed efforts and is not comfortably overlooked, but a chance is taken on MISS NEW YORK. She weakened close home in a better contest on her debut and if she improves for the experience, she ought to find this class more to her liking.
Prediction : 1st Miss New York 2nd Tatterstall 3rd Capital Offence

A competitive race, but at least STORMY PEARL has a win to her name, after making all to come home alone at Hamilton last time out. An added 8lb from the handicapper may not be enough to stop her following up, though if she falters, Signora Camacho might take advantage with the better going expected to suit. White Mist and Fiery Bond make their handicap debuts here and may have more to offer off these marks.
Prediction : 1st Stormy Pearl 2nd Signora Camacho 3rd White Mist

Having gained a confidence-boosting success at Carlisle earlier this month, WATER OF LEITH made the switch from Jim Goldie to Rebecca Menzies' Morton yard. The son of Kodiac was raised 4lb for that victory, but remains potentially well treated from a mark of 61 and he's taken to follow up. Earn Your Stripes appears set for another bold showing, having recorded two wins from her last three starts, while the class-dropping Maple Jack heads the weights and is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Water Of Leith 2nd Earn Your Stripes 3rd Maple Jack

BELTANE produced a much-improved display over 6f at Haydock earlier this month following recent wind surgery, finishing a good third. He could have more to offer back at 7f and, in a wide-open contest, he receives a tentative vote. Starshiba has been narrowly denied on each of his two latest starts and he ought to go well down in class, along with Obee Jo, who has dropped 2lb below his last winning mark. Spacer shouldn't be underestimated either.
Prediction : 1st Beltane 2nd Starshiba 3rd Obee Jo

Noble Anthem may prove popular here, but he is worse off with Glasses Up on recent form and the cheekpieces will need to spark improvement for him to confirm that now. Enforced represents the Roger Varian yard and may find the step up in trip suits after his Newmarket fifth, but WOOTTON'SUN could have the edge. He won at Doncaster off 1lb lower and if his recent gelding operation gets him back to that level, he has every chance.
Prediction : 1st Woottonsun 2nd Noble Anthem 3rd Enforced

If the rain arrives, Samuel Spade could go well despite disappointing at Doncaster last time. However, preference is for YAASER, who was a close second here off this mark last week and, if in the same form today, he looks capable of going one better. Ravenglass took a big step forward when third on the all-weather at Wolverhampton last time and if resuming his progress back on turf, he is another who can get involved for Richard Fahey off just a 1lb higher mark.
Prediction : 1st Yaaser 2nd Ravenglass 3rd Samuel Spade

Jet Set Go would have every chance if building on her latest Beverley second, while Red Allure arrives in good nick having returned from a 55-day break to win a classified stakes race over this trip at Hamilton recently. Both are expected to go well, but SUNSET GLOW gets the nod on the basis that he should still be improving and ran a cracker for the silver medal off this mark at Hamilton two starts ago.
Prediction : 1st Sunset Glow 2nd Red Allure 3rd Jet Set Go
