The Easterby family have won four of the last 10 renewals of this race suggesting Rocket Dancer could have a say if he bounces back to form after a poor run at Newcastle. However, BIT OF A QUIRKE is preferred having won here five times and he runs under a 4lb penalty after winning a better race at Leicester on Wednesday. He might prove hard to pass again here dropped in trip, leaving Irv as the suggestion for third spot.
Prediction : 1st Bit Of A Quirke 2nd Rocket Dancer 3rd Irv

Cianciana should go well for an in-form yard and after coming home second at both Nottingham and Newmarket in June, but his only success was off 10lb lower and he might have to give way to MENIN GATE. Dropping down the handicap after a string of below-par efforts, he could be the one if first-time blinkers have the desired effect. Zihaam cannot be ruled out with six course wins and he may follow them home.
Prediction : 1st Menin Gate 2nd Cianciana 3rd Zihaam

Belon is going the right way and was only beaten half a length at Salisbury last month, but he will need to find a bit more to get the better of debut winner BENACRE. He impressed despite a slow start at Epsom, going away to score by close to three lengths, and he is likely to take all the beating. Redcar scorer Sound Pressure is another to consider seriously, despite having to give weight to his rivals.
Prediction : 1st Benacre 2nd Belon 3rd Sound Pressure

With stable and jockey in good form and the addition of cheekpieces, What A Dude may go well here and he could hit a place on his best form. KISS N CUDDLE is looking for his hat-trick after a pair of wins at Leicester and an added 5lb may not be enough to stop the front-runner now, while Fomo carries a 6lb penalty for winning her maiden at Musselburgh and will make sure the selection pulls out all the stops.
Prediction : 1st Kiss N Cuddle 2nd Fomo 3rd What A Dude

Mystical Dreams was running on nicely after a slow start on her debut at Newcastle and nominal improvement for that experience may see her getting involved in the finish here, though AL HITMI coud have the edge. Third on both starts to date, he was beaten less than two lengths at Hamilton in a better race last month and may make the most of the drop in class. Exceed and Kasino are newcomers worthy of a second glance.
Prediction : 1st Al Hitmi 2nd Mystical Dreams 3rd Exceed

Paul Midgley won this in 2020 and he has three runners here, possibly headed by Buniann who is wearing a hood for the first time. All his wins have been at this trip and he could go close, but it seems worth risking a return to form from MURBIH. Beaten a head at Ripon off 3lb higher in April, he could take advantage of a favoured low draw. Phoenix Star is another to consider after his second at Doncaster last time.
Prediction : 1st Murbih 2nd Buniann 3rd Phoenix Star

CHARLIE'S YARD has already won twice this year and has been found an excellent opportunity to bring up the third here by his trainer David Evans. He was a good second in a small-field event at Bath last time out and could be tough to beat off the same mark. The lightly-raced Valley Of Flowers rates as the main danger after not disgracing herself when fourth on her debut for Jacqueline Coward here at the start of the month, while Qweldryk is another who can't be discounted here.
Prediction : 1st Charlies Yard 2nd Valley Of Flowers 3rd Qweldryk

In a field of mostly exposed runners, the lightly-raced GO SING makes the most appeal on his handicap debut. The four-year-old improved to finish second in a maiden at Haydock 11 days ago and, if progressing again, he looks capable of getting off the mark here. Eldelbar ran well enough in a couple of claimers at Redcar last month to suggest he is capable of getting involved here, while Truth In Jest is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Go Sing 2nd Eldelbar 3rd Truth In Jest
