True Statesman impressed at Chester last time but he has been slammed with an 8lb rise and given he is favourite he might be worth taking on. I really like the chances of SEDUCTIVE POWER for Richard Hannon. This colt acquitted himself well on debut in a race that has worked out nicely since (had Vintage Stakes winner Marbaan in front that day). He ran behind Isaac Shelby next time probably going a bit hard off the front. He looked an improved individual getting the fractions right when winning last time and stayed on well through the line. He goes handicapping now off a mark of 84 and I think that could prove lenient. This extra furlong should bring about further improvement and I’m looking forward to seeing him run. Sunningdale finished fourth behind the selection last time and if improving on just his fourth start he might not be too far away either.
