Reshoun merits plenty of respect having returned to winning ways at Newbury a couple of weeks ago, although a chance can be taken with WITHHOLD. The nine-year-old was fifth in that contest but he is 5lb better off with Reshoun and arrives here 2lb lower than when finishing second in this contest 12 months ago. Solent Gateway and Zoffee both merit plenty of respect, while Super Superjack and Mellow Magic could also go well.
Prediction : 1st Withhold 2nd Reshoun 3rd Solent Gateway

BAYSIDE BOY was not disgraced when finishing seventh behind Coroebus in the St James's Palace Stakes at Royal Ascot and, even though Berkshire Shadow finished marginally in front of him on that occasion, the selection was short of room over 2f out, so that form could be reversed. Checkandchallenge could also make his presence felt having run well at Sandown earlier this month.
Prediction : 1st Bayside Boy 2nd Berkshire Shadow 3rd Checkandchallenge

NOBLE DYNASTY looked a different proposition when making a winning return to action at Newmarket earlier in the month and the son of Dubawi is 6lb well-in under a penalty on this occasion. With an excellent draw in stall three to further aid his cause, he is taken to back that performance up. Sinjaari arrives having won at Sandown on his latest outing and warrants plenty of respect, despite carrying top weight, while others for the shortlist include Saleymm, Eilean Dubh and Rebel Territory.
Prediction : 1st Noble Dynasty 2nd Sinjaari 3rd Saleymm

Raasel took another step forward when adding a first Group success to his CV earlier this month and he looks set for another bold bid. However, preference is for ACKLAM EXPRESS, who outran market expectations when finishing third in the King's Stand at Royal Ascot. Nigel Tinkler's charge likes it here, having broken the 5f track record set by juveniles in his two-year-old campaign, though he'll need to be firing on all cylinders to repel the challenge of his Meydan conqueror Lazuli. The remainder are headed by Mitbaahy and Equilateral.
Prediction : 1st Acklam Express 2nd Raasel 3rd Lazuli

Sir Michael Stoute took this three years in a row from 2016 to 2018 which suggests the upped-in-trip Regal Reality won't be too far away, though he may struggle to find the necessary improvement at the age of seven. Preference is for REBEL'S ROMANCE, who impressed when winning on his turf debut after a slow start and he could be the stable number one under William Buick. Both Max Vega and John Leeper might have some say on their best form.
Prediction : 1st Rebels Romance 2nd Regal Reality 3rd Max Vega

A competitive-looking nursery where a case can be made for plenty of these, but the George Boughey-trained CALIFORNIA GEM has been impressive on her last two starts and this extra furlong may bring out further improvement. Although Bolt Action has to concede weight all round, he wasn't disgraced in the Windsor Castle last time and looks sure to give a good account of himself. At the other end of the weights, Felix Natalis was a cosy winner last week and can't be discounted.
Prediction : 1st California Gem 2nd Bolt Action 3rd Felix Natalis

Caius Chorister hacked up in a lower-grade handicap at Epsom and can confirm the form with Cabrakan despite 20lb worse terms, while Omniscient shaped as a typical Sir Mark Prescott improver when winning a maiden handicap with ease at Yarmouth. A 6lb penalty might not stop him, but it may pay to side with HIGHLAND PREMIERE. Charlie and Mark Johnston have evidently earmarked this handicap for a number of runners but the booking of Frankie Dettori for this consistent son of Highland Reel catches the eye.
Prediction : 1st Highland Premiere 2nd Omniscient 3rd Caius Chorister
