ALMODOVAR DEL RIO got off the mark at the 12th time of asking at Brighton last time, where the first time cheekpieces appeared to do the trick. They're applied again and with his capable rider claiming a 7lb allowance he looks to have plenty going for him. Wrought Iron has appreciated a return to the all-weather surface, winning two of his last three starts and only being narrowly denied on the other occasion. Last month's Kempton scorer Fantasy Navigator has been given a 2lb rise for a battling victory which looks fair and he remains a horse of interest.

Gustav Graves has dropped to just 3lb above his last winning mark and recently showed promise over this trip on turf. However, BERNARD SPIERPOINT is now rated 1lb below his last winning mark, when victorious over this C&D. His latest outing at this track saw him run a good second and the he has to be considered at a track that evidently suits. Recent course winner Marwari is another to note, but he drops in trip and has to shoulder a 5lb penalty for that success.

Hellavaheart just held on to score on his most recent outing at Chepstow and seems an obvious threat, while Niamh And Oonagh is another to consider.
