CANADIANSMOKESHOW cost 290,000 euros as a yearling and made an introduction full of promise when third at the July Festival, finishing just a length adrift of the Albany third. She can improve for the extra furlong and is preferred to Luckin Brew, who also made an excellent start to her career at the same meeting. Godolphin have won three of the five previous renewals and their Art Of Magic should step forward from her debut third. Commissioning and Prepense are two of the more interesting newcomers.
Prediction : 1st Canadiansmokeshow 2nd Luckin Brew 3rd Art Of Magic

FOX DEGREE built on the promise she displayed in maiden and novice company when off the mark on her nursery bow at Ffos Las, with the third giving the form a boost by winning last weekend. Ralph Beckett's juvenile powered home so can repeat the dose over this additional furlong. Immortal Beauty went agonisingly close in a maiden at the Welsh venue and her conqueror then didn't perform badly in the Super Sprint. Liberation Bay, Queen Of Uplands and Queen Of Deauville also make appeal.
Prediction : 1st Fox Degree 2nd Immortal Beauty 3rd Liberation Bay

Technique was fourth in the Aphrodite here when returned to 1m4f for the first time since finishing seventh in last year's Oaks, but she has ground to make up on ROSE OF KILDARE. The Johnstons' mare only gave way late to an upwardly-mobile Godolphin filly after making a bold fist of things from the front, and she will be tough to reel in. Stablemates Elegant Verse and Emotion are perhaps the pick of the Classic generation, although both have come up short at this level before.
Prediction : 1st Rose Of Kildare 2nd Technique 3rd Elegant Verse

TEMPORIZE maintained his unbeaten record when scoring under a penalty over C&D last Friday and the son of Postponed, who was always doing enough on that occasion, is open to further progression on his handicap debut. Mahrajaan was disappointing in the John Smith's Cup at York on his latest start and he is capable of bouncing back to form with his sights lowered, while Old Port is taken to confirm his recent second at Windsor with Sir Rumi.
Prediction : 1st Temporize 2nd Mahrajaan 3rd Old Port

RAZEYNA benefited from a drop back in trip when scoring at Carlisle earlier this month and William Haggas' filly is open to further progression having gone up 4lb for that victory. Azure Blue was fourth in a competitive handicap against her own age group here last time and she is likely to enter calculations along with Cuban Breeze, who won at Ascot last Friday.
Prediction : 1st Razeyna 2nd Azure Blue 3rd Cuban Breeze

Leuven Power comes into this on the back of a solid novice stakes success at Salisbury earlier this month, while Love De Vega struck in novice company at Nottingham last time, though that was over a year ago. Al Shibli is another returning to action who has claims on the pick of his juvenile form, but preference is for THUNDER LEGEND. William Haggas' gelding was only beaten half a length into third over this trip on soft ground at Haydock and had been in excellent form on a sounder surface prior to that, so could gain reward for his consistency in this.
Prediction : 1st Thunder Legend 2nd Leuven Power 3rd Al Shibli

Giovanni Baglione was a picture of excellence when successful here last month and was only narrowly denied at Haydock last time despite a tardy start. Uzincso was impressive in landing the spoils over this C&D last time and a 6lb rise for that success looks fair, but ASHKY could be the answer in a trappy contest. Harry and Roger Charlton's grey showed marked improvement for the switch to handicaps when winning well over C&D and a 5lb rise for that could prove lenient.
Prediction : 1st Ashky 2nd Giovanni Baglione 3rd Uzincso
