Mille Miglia has won off this mark before and she went down just a neck at Kempton last time so no doubt she’ll have her supporters but I think she is short enough given she has spurned similar opportunities in the past. I really like CHARLIE ARTHUR as despite failing to follow up that Thirsk win I think he likely improved in defeat when third at Newbury last month. He was headed a furlong out and only really gave way late so this drop back to a mile and a quarter looks ideal. He remains well handicapped and I’m surprised he is as big as 7/1 in the betting. Pride Of Nepal is capable of big figures as well but he doesn’t always put it all in and he’ll need them to go a ferocious pace to win this in first-time cheekpieces. Carp Kid got first run in what turned out to be a stop start gallop over C&D last time and is respected but I think this will be run at a more honest gallop which will definitely help the selection.
