He does have to give 6lb or more to all of his rivals and they may be headed by Okeechobee, who was a promising second at Wolverhampton despite pulling too hard.

He represents a top stable, is out of a mare who won at the highest level, and he is fancied to make it second-time lucky. New Endeavour has made a pleasing start to his career and was a decent third over this trip at Haydock. Pavise is an interesting newcomer and completes the shortlist.

GIDWA's rating is unchanged following a promising second at Wolverhampton and, given he was successful on his sole outing over this C&D (albeit off a 10lb lower mark), a return to this track could spark additional enthusiasm into the three-year-old. Kingofhell has first-time blinkers for his return to the all-weather and must be feared now 1lb higher than his last winning figure. Alooqaal is another to note dropping in trip on his UK bow.

He arguably produced a career-best performance when winning over 1m6f at Sandown last time and dropping back in trip shouldn't pose him any problems.

VINO VICTRIX likes it here and the form of his C&D second last time took a massive boost when the winner Master Milliner came out and struck at Glorious Goodwood.
