INSPIRITED made a favourable impression on his debut at Yarmouth, taking third despite being slowly away, showing signs of greenness and meeting trouble in running. Cite D'Or cost just 10,000 euros as a yearling but was snapped up for 43,000 euros as a two-year-old, suggesting she was showing something at least, while Charlie and Mark Johnston's Artistic Girl has yet to beat a horse home in two starts to date but could still make an impact.

WISPER positively bolted up in a handicap over this C&D two starts ago and continued in good form when second at Epsom last time. Marcus Tregoning's charge evidently enjoys undulating tracks and can strike at the expense of Arclight, who ran a respectable race when third on her reappearance at Sandown. Gangway was behind the selection at Epsom but put in a better display when third at Redcar last time.

Off a 1lb lower mark today, Gary Moore's gelding could return to winning ways. The hat-trick seeking Bug Boy is an obvious threat to the selection, while Percy Jones and Caramelised also merit places on the shortlist.

Diva Dancer has been running in handicap company of late and may be able to make her presence felt in these calmer waters. The slight preference is for VOODOO RAY, though, who ran a decent race when third of five at Epsom last time. Gary Moore's three-year-old is rated best of these and appears likely to offer a bold bid in this contest. Queen Sarabi won over C&D three starts ago and thus commands respect.

Mick Channon's four-year-old has been raised 3lb by the handicapper and that may not be enough to stop him from going in again. Macs Dilemma was beaten by just a length last time over 7f at Newmarket and appears likely to be thereabouts once more, while Tintoretto also boasts claims.
