TORIOUS did not run her race when well beaten last time out at Yarmouth, but she was only beaten a short-head off the same mark in June and if she can repeat that then she has every chance from a nice draw. Mr Orange is the only C&D winner here and is well handicapped on his best form, though Mops Gem might be the bigger danger after a Leicester third representing a stable in great form.
Prediction : 1st Torious 2nd Mops Gem 3rd Mr Orange

Equity's Darling was all out when winning here over further and she can go close now dropped back in trip, though that win means she has to give 4lb or more to the rest of the field. SPARKLING RED ducked out at the start before coming home second for the third time at Hamilton and a level break may see her go one better, while Saleet outran her price when an 80/1 fourth on her debut and can only improve for that experience.
Prediction : 1st Sparkling Red 2nd Equitys Darling 3rd Saleet

Finest Sound hasn't raced over seven furlongs since his juvenile days and although he is the highest rated in the field, he might struggle with this trip. A chance is taken on SYMBOLIZE, with forecast conditions suggesting he will get the cut in the ground he needs to be seen at his best and he could prove hard to beat if that is the case. Perotto has been racing at a higher level, but might find these conditions do not see him at his best.
Prediction : 1st Symbolize 2nd Finest Sound 3rd Perotto

On The Pulse won over 6f at Ffos Las last time out, but does carry a 6lb penalty for that half-length success and could be vulnerable to some of these rivals. Slight preference is for ALEXA'S PRINCESS, who has performed well in two starts at Chelmsford and Nottingham since switching to nursery company and represents a yard going great guns this year. Love Fifteen is another to be interested in.
Prediction : 1st Alexas Princess 2nd On The Pulse 3rd Love Fifteen

SPEAR FIR was a good second last time over 6f at Doncaster, behind a progressive rival who will be seeking a hat-trick on his next outing. Simon Whitaker's charge looks primed to run another big race on her handicap debut and an opening mark of 60 looks workable. Brazen Idol enjoys big-field contests, scoring over C&D last time in a 20-runner field, but he's been raised 5lb for that one-length victory and has no margin for error. Hurt You Never has already won twice this season and commands respect.
Prediction : 1st Spear Fir 2nd Brazen Idol 3rd Hurt You Never

16:35 Thirsk

WILL HE DANCE was a facile winner over the extended 1m4f at Musselburgh last time, winning by six lengths, and while Keith Dalgleish's four-year-old has been raised 7lb for that success, that may not be enough to halt his progression. Glory And Honour is also a last-time-out winner, over 1m4f at Catterick, but David O'Meara's charge carries a 5lb penalty for that one-and-a-half-length victory, so may be vulnerable to some of these rivals. Jamih has been running consistently well of late and should be thereabouts again.
Prediction : 1st Will He Dance 2nd Glory And Honour 3rd Jamih
