AMANZOE was a commanding winner over 1m2f at Sandown last time and this looks like a nice opportunity to bring up her hat-trick. William Haggas' three-year-old seemed to relish the step up in trip last time and has conditions to suit once again. Adjourn is also a last-time-out winner, over an extended 1m2f at Doncaster, and he appears likely to offer another bold bid, while Blenheim Boy is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Amanzoe 2nd Adjourn 3rd Blenheim Boy

Orbaan was a comfortable winner of the Golden Mile at Goodwood last Friday, which entitles him to plenty of respect, but the slight preference is for EPSOM FAITHFULL. Pat Phelan's five-year-old won well over 6f at this venue last time and shaped as though she will enjoy the step up to 7f in this contest. Divine Magic has been in good form in handicap company recently and is likely to be thereabouts once more.
Prediction : 1st Epsom Faithfull 2nd Orbaan 3rd Divine Magic

ARECIBO has been running with credit in much hotter contests than this in recent times and he may be able to stamp his authority in these calmer waters. Robert Cowell's seven-year-old didn't disgrace himself last time in the Coral Charge at Sandown and he is one of the more likely winners of this competitive handicap. King Of Stars was a good second over C&D last time so he warrants respect, while Manaccan is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Arecibo 2nd King Of Stars 3rd Manaccan

Throne Hall has not been disgraced in recent class 3 handicaps and is of interest on his first attempt over this distance. However, preference is for the Milton Harris-trained SUPER SUPERJACK, who kept on well for second at Goodwood last month, despite being repeatedly short of room in the closing stages. His last outing over this C&D in May saw him claim victory by a length and a half, albeit off a 11lb lower mark, and he is capable of a decent showing once more. Rock Eagle completes the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Super Superjack 2nd Throne Hall 3rd Rock Eagle

CHARGING THUNDER looks to extend his winning record on his track debut. He has moved up 10lb in the handicap since winning at Pontefract in June and the four-year-old is taken to make it a fourth victory out of his last five starts. Pride Of Priory seems a big threat given the nature of his last two wins on the all-weather, while The Whipmaster also merits a lot of respect.
Prediction : 1st Charging Thunder 2nd Pride Of Priory 3rd The Whipmaster

This could go the way of the William Haggas-trained MONTASSIB, who steps up in trip following a promising fourth in the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket on his most recent outing. He retains the same mark from that run and remains unexposed, with the extra furlong potentially working in his favour on this occasion. Isla Kai seems an obvious threat to the selection following his latest run at York, while Redarna is another to note given he remains 3lb above his last winning mark.
Prediction : 1st Montassib 2nd Isla Kai 3rd Redarna

Berkshire Breeze can count himself unfortunate not to have earned a first career success having tallied up a string of placed efforts and though he is likely to go well once more, it may pay dividends to side with HAMAKI. The son of Churchill appeals as the type to improve over middle distances, having scored over 1m2f at Haydock in June, and though a 5lb rise makes life tougher, he can follow up. Franz Strauss was just touched off in a three-runner affair at Sandown last month and is another to consider along with Approachability, who drops in class.
Prediction : 1st Hamaki 2nd Berkshire Breeze 3rd Franz Strauss

ADMIRAL D filled the runner-up spot in a valuable handicap at Newmarket last month, faring best of those held up off the pace. The winner readily followed up on his next start, so a 2lb rise for Richard Fahey's gelding looks unlikely to prevent another bold bid. The son of Ardad will need to be at the top of his game to repel Spangled Mac, though, as he goes in search of a five-timer. Razeyna is likely to appreciate the stiff nature of the track having won a shade cosily at Carlisle last time out, while recent Chelmsford scorer Tolstoy shouldn't be underestimated either.
Prediction : 1st Admiral D 2nd Spangled Mac 3rd Razeyna
