With The Churchill Lad, Ocean Ruler and Auntie Margaret all non runners now this race is cutting up and I think it looks a great chance for BANNED to make the breakthrough. This filly by Ulysses ran her best race to date when second to Tamilla (my NAP today) at Ffos Las last month. She was held up that day but made good headway before keeping on well in the closing stages. The front 3 pulled miles clear from the rest too. She goes handicapping now off a mark of 76 and given she is unexposed over a mile and a half if she improves she should be bang there at the finish. Buxted Reel is a decent enough yardstick but still remains a maiden and is definitely a danger but might just find one or two too good again. Teagarden Jazz could be interesting and is also feared - wouldn’t want to see too much money for her.

I know the market isn’t speaking too positively about STUNT GAME but it was the same yesterday with Tarrabb and that didn’t stop her winning. This Dandy Man colt has run three times finishing second on each occasion. He was well backed at Chester last time but just looked a bit tapped for toe before keeping on. He goes handicapping now up to 6f for the first time and I’m expecting him to improve again. There is a lot of pace on here and that should really help him. Lily In The Jungle won emphatically in a seller at Ripon last month and has to be feared back in a handicap given the manner of that victory. Treble Glory was just too keen behind Catch The Paddy at York but if settling better might finish his race better so is also worthy of consideration. Granny B is another one that can do better but might need more time.
