Mambo Beat will need to step up considerably on his only run this year when a distant last at Sandown. He could leave that behind him but if BULLEIT is at his best, he will prove hard to beat. Kodiac Blue is another who could go well if first-time cheekpieces bring any improvement.

FARIBA ran a race full of promise at Newcastle on her debut, keeping on well to be beaten just over a length into fourth, almost making up for a poor start. That experience and an added furlong here look ideal, and she seems the logical choice. Feyha offered encouragement with her Ffos Las fifth and may prove the biggest danger, although newcomer Royal Athena has plenty of stamina in her pedigree and should have no issue with the trip.

Munch took a decent step forward from her debut effort at Windsor when successful here in June, but giving 6lb to ENOLA GREY won't be easy. Jonathan Portman's filly has shown a good level of form when finishing third on each of her three starts, and this looks by far her most winnable opportunity. Lady Lavina is getting a little frustrating, but she's clearly capable of landing a race of this nature and can't be discounted.

The well-bred ONE WORLD looked ready for this step up in trip when second at Newmarket and, despite top weight, is fancied to register his second career victory if proving as effective on the all-weather. Fahari has shown ability in each of her four starts and could give the selection something to think about on her nursery debut. Crackovia is consistent, but she may well have to find a bit more off this opening mark if she's to win this.

A fascinating contest in which most of the runners have a chance but slight preference is for GREEK FLAME, who has been narrowly beaten by the same rival on her last two starts and looks ready to double her career tally. Tamilla was impressive when landing a maiden at Ffos Las and looks the main danger. Hexameter ran a big race to finish second at Windsor and is fancied ahead of the rest on her handicap debut.

On his second appearance since wind surgery, YAGAN is fancied to return to winning ways. It was his first run since September when finishing fourth at Wolverhampton so with that under his belt, he could take all the beating, with this longer trip also sure to suit. Tin Fandango keeps running well and should be on the premises, but the biggest danger might be Sir Joseph Swan after his recent triumph at Salisbury off a 5lb lower mark.
