Victory Dance ran a big race in defeat when denied a head in the Superlative and is clearly a promising horse going forward but then so is CANDLE OF HOPE. The latter is still unbeaten having made a winning debut over 6f here before following up impressively at Thirsk last time. She is improving all the time and it’s no surprise to see Richard Hughes pitch her in here. She could be very good and at 4/1 I’m happy to pay to find out as I wouldn’t have the fav that short. Ferrari Queen is also 2-2 but she will go forward and might set it up for the two mentioned above to fight it out. Bluelight Bay has some good form to his name but needs to prove himself up to 7f for the first time. Cite D’Or made a bright start winning at Brighton but this is a big step up so she might always be struggling to live with these.
