BOLD ACT made a pleasing debut here last month when second to stablemate Highbank, who looked a very smart prospect, so a reproduction of that should be good enough here in what looks a weaker race. Not much went right for Go Senator Go on his debut at Windsor on Monday, but he could get involved with that experience under his belt. Grenham Bay is another who may improve from his first start when third at Sandown last month.
Prediction : 1st Bold Act 2nd Go Senator Go 3rd Grenham Bay

Preference is for the ultra-consistent PRINCE OF BEL LIR after a decent third at Epsom last month. He has won three times already this year and off just 3lb higher than for his last win, he can add to his tally. His biggest danger might be Counsel on just his second handicap start. He won a novice race by a wide margin at Lingfield last time and should go well again on his first go at 6f. Wajd is another who needs considering after his victory here a fortnight ago.
Prediction : 1st Prince Of Bel Lir 2nd Counsel 3rd Wajd

Watching the market will be key to solving this puzzle, with Godolphin's three runners all expected to be in the mix. Lenormand finished sixth on his debut at Newbury, but the race is working out well and he is expected to go closer here. However, if the market speaks in favour of CASTLE WAY, then Charlie Appleby's debutant might be the one to side with. A half-brother to Palace Pier, he is bred to be smart and could make the perfect start under James Doyle. Al Wasl Dream is fancied to fill the frame and make it a Godolphin 1-2-3.
Prediction : 1st Castle Way 2nd Lenormand 3rd Al Wasl Dream

JUST AMBER comfortably beat a short-priced William Haggas favourite over an extended 1m at Nottingham recently and she is fancied to follow up under a penalty. Fulfilled justified favouritism when winning over C&D two starts ago and then backed that up with a solid third-placed effort at Sandown last time. He could be in the firing line again, while First Dance and Mr Marvlos are others to note.
Prediction : 1st Just Amber 2nd Fulfilled 3rd First Dance

Judged on past form, ALMAAN wouldn't be the most reliable of performers, but he had a subsequent winner back in fourth when winning over 1m here last time and stretching back out in distance shouldn't be a problem on that evidence. He shades the verdict ahead of the dropped-in-class Goddess Of Fire and Dion Baker, who is fairly unexposed and makes his stable debut for Michael Wigham.
Prediction : 1st Almaan 2nd Goddess Of Fire 3rd Dion Baker

CHASING APHRODITE hasn't put a foot wrong in both starts to date and the last-time-out C&D winner could prove a tough nut to crack on his handicap debut. Bashosh has been gelded since his comeback second at Chelmsford in June and he must enter calculations with that outing under his belt, while Bell Rock and Dutch Decoy add further spice to a competitive event.
Prediction : 1st Chasing Aphrodite 2nd Bashosh 3rd Bell Rock
