ROGUE ROCKET looked ready for this step up in trip when fourth at Sandown last month and, with the likelihood of more to come, Tom Clover's charge looks capable of adding to his tally. Though he disappointed when last of four at Sandown last time, Frantanck can't be ruled out with some of his previous runs working out well, while Definite followed up his victory at Haydock with a decent second at Nottingham last time and is another who looks set to be involved.
Prediction : 1st Rogue Rocket 2nd Frantanck 3rd Definite

Though taking on some fascinating rivals, VICTORY DANCE looks like he will be hard to beat here with Charlie Appleby's runners flying at the minute. The son of Dubawi followed up his win in a Newmarket maiden with an excellent second in the Group 2 Superlative Stakes last month and the drop in class is likely to see him back to winning form. Candle Of Hope is 2-2 after doubling her tally impressively at Thirsk last month and she might be the one to chase the selection home ahead of Bluelight Bay.
Prediction : 1st Victory Dance 2nd Candle Of Hope 3rd Bluelight Bay

A fascinating renewal of this race, with most of the runners having a chance, but AWAY HE GOES looks the one to side with for the in-form Ismail Mohammed team. The six-year-old is likely to find this easier than his recent fifth to Kyprios in the Goodwood Cup. Zechariah looks sure to run well getting weight from his older rivals, though this looks his toughest task to date, while Outbox can't entirely be ruled out either if bouncing back after some lacklustre performances recently.
Prediction : 1st Away He Goes 2nd Zechariah 3rd Outbox

The application of first-time cheekpieces appeared to rejuvenate FIVETHOUSANDTOONE after he was second in a conditions race at Salisbury last month and it would be no surprise to see him go one better. Although Dance Fever hasn't been easy to win with lately, he has hinted at a return to form on his last two starts, most recently when third at Goodwood when slightly hampered two furlongs out, and may be worth another chance. Gisburn is two from three at this track and showed his wellbeing when second at Goodwood a fortnight ago.
Prediction : 1st Fivethousandtoone 2nd Dance Fever 3rd Gisburn

15:35 Newbury

William Haggas won this race with Sacred last year and is fancied to repeat that feat this time around with the three-year-old TIBER FLOW. He wasn't disgraced behind Perfect Power in the Commonwealth Cup last time and this extra furlong looks sure to unlock further improvement. Previous C&D winner Chindit has chased home Baaeed on three occasions this season, so he must be considered. Double Or Bubble has run respectably well on her last two starts, both at the highest level, and the drop in class brings her into the equation.
Prediction : 1st Tiber Flow 2nd Chindit 3rd Double Or Bubble

16:10 Newbury

RECHERCHER has been shaping as though a victory isn't far away of late and this looks like a decent opportunity to do just that in this contest. It appears likely that Ralph Beckett's three-year-old will prefer this step back in trip after his third at Newmarket last time. Suzy's Shoes is the most preferred of the rest of the field who have experience, while Bay Dream Believer is an interesting debutant.
Prediction : 1st Rechercher 2nd Suzys Shoes 3rd Crafty Lady

16:45 Newbury

Singing The Blues was a winner last time out over 1m6f at Ffos Las, although Rod Millman's charge has been raised 4lb for that success which may leave him vulnerable to some better treated rivals like FRONTISPIECE. Amanda Perrett's eight-year-old was eighth at Doncaster last time, but he was only beaten by two and a half lengths and, having been given a chance by the handicapper, this appears to be a decent opportunity to notch a victory. Castel Gandolfo heads the remainder.
Prediction : 1st Frontispiece 2nd Singing The Blues 3rd Castel Gandolfo
