GYTO's Sunday notebook double pays 8/1.
The hat-trick seeking SCHWARTZ looks a good bet at Chelmsford on Sunday. Richard Hughes looks to have found the key to him winning easily at Bath on return last month before following up at Southwell doing it with plenty to spare. He was held up right off the pace when coming through strongly to win at Bath and he had a good look about when he hit the front so still showing signs of inexperience. Southwell was more like it but he still looked as though he had more in the locker if called upon given the way he came swinging into the race. I liked the way he found off the bridle and he was much the best. He is a big horse who should have more to come. Beggarman has plenty of ability and has won over track and trip but he didn’t find much last time and that would have to be concerning.
I’m heading over to France for my second Notebook on Sunday with the hat-trick seeking ETERNAL PEARL really catching the eye. This Frankel filly first caught my eye going down just half a length to Sea Silk Road at Goodwood. She looked a work in progress beaten just a length at Newbury next time behind Perfect Alibi and River Of Stars. That is strong form so it was no huge surprise to see her open her account at Kempton back in June. She was entitled to do that though so it was the Newmarket win that really impressed me. She was briefly denied a run before staying on strongly. She remains unexposed and if settling better could be a lovely prospect going forward. The danger here looks to be Lastotchka who bolted up at Longchamp before finding Raclette just a head too good in a Group 2 last month.
