Madame Fenella returned to form when touched off at Chelmsford last week and boasts obvious claims off the same mark, but she could be worth taking on with GLASSTREES, who was two lengths adrift in fourth place that day. Michael Appleby's filly found things happening too quickly after an unusually slow break, but there remains a race to be won with her off her basement mark and this could be it. The veteran Duke Of Firenze was only just beaten on his latest start here and is of interest after a decent effort at Leicester last time.
Prediction : 1st Glasstrees 2nd Madame Fenella 3rd Duke Of Firenze

It's hard to look beyond Charlie Appleby's PRINCEVILLE here after he put debut experience to good use when scoring at Yarmouth last month, beating subsequent winner Al Dasim in the process. Having been gelded since, there is likely to be a lot more to come from him and, with Harry Davies' allowance offsetting a good chunk of his penalty, he should have too much for the likes of Lady Hamana and Jive King, who both displayed a fair amount of promise first time out.
Prediction : 1st Princeville 2nd Lady Hamana 3rd Jive King

An open-looking contest, but there are solid grounds for siding with useful dual purpose performer GOLD SOUK. Daniel Steele's five-year-old could be excused not getting competitive from a high draw at Chester last time. He had previously shaped nicely when third off this mark at Kempton and remains very much of interest. Lindwall won three times on the all-weather in the autumn for Sir Mark Prescott and showed enough when second at Catterick in May to suggest he remains well treated if fully tuned up after a break. The improving Miss Blennerhasset is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Gold Souk 2nd Lindwall 3rd Miss Blennerhasset

Sir Gregory won well enough at Kempton last time to suggest he should go well again in a race of this nature, but a chance is taken on TORVI. She is less exposed and her second-placed effort at Nottingham off this mark last time was a very encouraging one. There could be more to come from her, while others expected to go well include Obtain, who is a C&D winner, and Rebel Redemption, who is on a workable mark.
Prediction : 1st Torvi 2nd Sir Gregory 3rd Obtain

HOT TEAM really has the bit between his teeth at the moment as the reapplied visor seems to have worked the oracle in recent outings. A back-to-form third at Hamilton last month was followed by two ready wins at Newcastle and Newbury and it is going to take a big performance to deny this versatile performer the hat-trick. Gangway is interesting getting a weight-for-age allowance and joins Wurlitzer on the shortlist.
Prediction : 1st Hot Team 2nd Gangway 3rd Wurlitzer

One Step Beyond is 2-4 at this track and arrives in excellent nick, so it is easy to see why he may prove popular amongst punters. Preference, though, is for DEW YOU BELIEVE, who likes it here and got back to winning ways in impressive fashion over C&D at the end of last month. He had an in-form rival back in second that day and the third has won since at this track. Rose Fandango is another to note.
Prediction : 1st Dew You Believe 2nd One Step Beyond 3rd Rose Fandango

Not beaten far in his attempt for the hat-trick at Kempton last week, THUNDER FLASH can gain compensation here off an identical mark and with the in-form Harry Davies taking off a valuable 5lb. Glen Cove looked to be crying out for a step up in trip when fourth on handicap debut at Chelmsford and he gets that opportunity here, while Al Gaiya shouldn't be underestimated either.
Prediction : 1st Thunder Flash 2nd Glen Cove 3rd Al Gaiya
