I’m happy to put a line through that Musselburgh run last time as I just think it came too soon for SHAHNAZ following that Hamilton win. She almost certainly has a bit more to come yet and racing off the same mark as last time should bounce back here. Back down to a mile with this track likely to suit I think she definitely deserves to be favourite and I’d have her shorter than the 7/2 on offer at the time of writing. She is pretty versatile tactically as well so if they try and go slow she can just go on and make all if necessary. Doubts over her rivals make her an even stronger play. Second fav Monhammer won at Musselburgh last time but needs to prove as effective over this trip and a further 5lb rise demands more anyway. The Navigator will surely get outpaced back down to this trip? Talented horse on his day but the trip has to be concerning. Of the rest Typical Man probably needs it softer.
