Some exciting fillies lining up for this but my eye was immediately drawn to HASKOY for Ralph Beckett. This filly by Golden Horn ran out a very impressive winner on debut at Wolverhampton, streaking clear to win by 7 lengths at the line. That visual performance was backed up by the clock and she is clearly a really nice prospect in the making. I loved the way she travelled into that race for a horse lacking experience and once shaken up in the straight she really powered home. She has plenty of scope and will improve so is one I want to keep firmly on side. At a bigger price I did think Voodoo Queen would run well as she is improving with experience. She impressed again last time and might be worth a saver or one to back for a place. Golden Lyra is a likeable danger to the pair but she hasn’t impressed on the clock as of yet.

I can’t work out why FOX DEGREE is 4/1 here? She impressed to make a winning handicap debut at Ffos Las last month and then ran a huge race at Newmarket having lost a fair bit of ground at the start. The horse that beat her was Immortal Beauty and she has since followed up in a fiercely competitive handicap in the Racing League at Lingfield. The form is rock solid and with the selection likely to improve again on just her third start in a handicap she must go close. Lily In The Jungle has gone back-to-back at Ripon the last twice and has to be feared as she bids to bring up a hat-trick here. This won’t be easy under a penalty though and looks a better race being a Class 4 (ran in a Class 6 and 5 last time). Queen Of Uplands finished third behind the selection last time and is another one that is unlikely to be too far away here.
