Platinum Prince impressed to keep rolling at Nottingham but he is a very short price here and I’m not convinced he is one for maximum faith. He can be slowly into stride too and if this turns tactical things might end up going against him. I prefer ELOSO for Gay Kelleway. This son of Kodi Bear has been shaping well since joining this yard and I thought he ran a cracker beaten less than 2 lengths at Chelmsford last time. This step back up in trip could prove ideal and I think he is well handicapped off a mark of 67. I know he has spurned good opportunities in the past but this is definitely winnable and I’ll be very surprised if he doesn’t lay down a serious challenge. Girl Inthe Picture is a filly I had my eye on before she won at Brighton and the second Sly Madam is in great form so I think she might actually emerge as the danger here.

I’m keen to stick with ANGLO SAXSON at Yarmouth on Sunday. This son of Starspangledbanner looked to relish this track and trip winning readily last month and that form has been franked since with the second Available Angel winning next time out and Maylah who was back in fourth scoring at Chelmsford late last night. He has been beaten since finishing third here at the start of the month but the winner Kraka had it all go his own way up front and on this sunbaked ground horses were finding it tough to come from behind. He is actually down a 1lb here and with Thore Hammer Hansen getting the leg up under likely positive tactics I think he might be hard to catch. Available Angel is in opposition again and she might be the one to finish second again. Only The Brave disappointed last time so needs to bounce back but likely still needs more anyway.
