Sent off at 14/1 last time STREET PARADE got within a nose of victory over C&D. He was tapped for toe well off the pace and pulling hard but he stayed on strongly as he met the rising ground and was only narrowly denied. That is solid form with The Defiant back in third and he remains well treated on his old form. Newyorkstateofmind and Porfin should cut each others throats up top and this may well end up setting up for a closer again so the selection certainly fits the bill. Pop Dancer is the one I fear most but then if you look at his overall profile he is on a lengthy losing run so he might always just be finding the selection the stronger in the run to the line. Haveoneyerself has won over this C&D so it wouldn’t be a massive surprise to see him run well but he is hard to recommend on recent form especially last time where he showed very little

15:00 Chepstow

Clashaniska got first run and held on well over 6f here last time. He has to be feared as he bids to follow up but he doesn’t win too often and there isn’t much pace on here so his tactics to try and swoop from off the speed might not be as effective. I prefer CHIFA for Ed De Giles. He bounced back from a shocking run at Nottingham to belatedly make the breakthrough at Ffos Las last month. He did that with plenty to spare I thought and while he has been beaten 3 times since his best effort of those was when second to Mayson Mount over a mile here. He hit the front a furlong out that day so the drop back to 7f here should be ideal. He is clearly suited by this track and in a winnable race has pressing claims. Of those at bigger prices Nick Vedder continues to drop down the handicap and will likely bounce back at some point so worth considering.
