So Grateful won well again here last time but that came over 6f and it was only really late that he asserted. Back down a furlong in trip and off top-weight this won’t be easy so at a short price he might just be worth opposing. I’m going to chance Mayson filly DAWSON LANE for Julie Camacho. She has only had the 4 runs so remains thoroughly unexposed. She was beaten just a length and a half on handicap debut at Haydock and she was bumped leaving the stalls that day too. I think she’ll improve again with that experience under her belt and she should prove better than a 60-rated horse in time. There is plenty of pace on so if she can get carried into the race for longer she should be strong at the finish. Ustath kept on well once headed last time and has good claims as well but with a lot of competition for the lead I ended up passing him over.
