Leg 1 Selections: Street Parade

STREET PARADE has good course and distance form as well as the assistance of top apprentice Connor Planas in this race and I expect another good performance from the six-year-old in this race. The Michael Attwater gelding has form figures of 44212 over this course and distance in his career with his victory coming in June off a mark of 60. Street Parade finished 3rd at Sandown on his penultimate start off a mark of 62 before finishing a nose 2nd here earlier this month off a mark of 61. The handicapper has raised him 2lbs for that effort which is fair and he looks sure to be involved in the finish of this race.

Leg 2 Selections: Lady Amanda

Richard Hannon has a good record with his two-year-olds this year with them showing a +7.18 profit on turf so I think it could be worth taking a chance on his debutant LADY AMANDA. The standard is set by Red Treasure who finished 2nd on her debut at Windsor when sent off 14/1 but the next closest rival is Georgiava who is only rated 64. Lady Amanda wasn’t a particularly expensive purchase but the yard have a 29% record with two-year-olds here in recent years and she should go well.

Leg 3 Selections: Minhaaj

This looks a really weak contest with only MINHAAJ showing good recent form. The Michael Attwater trained five-year-old has finished within 2 ½ lengths of the winner on her previous three starts including recently when 3rd behind Porfin over this course and distance. She gets the assistance of talented 7lb claimer Conor Planas in this race and I expect her to be involved in the finish.

Leg 4 Selections: Ischia

The filly ISCHIA is only rated 1lb lower than Masterclass but gets 5lbs from her rival in this maiden. The James Fanshawe trained three-year-old has run well on all three of her starts so far this season including when a close 4th last time at Windsor in a handicap off a mark of 69. She drops back into maiden company in this race and she should prove hard to beat.

Leg 5 Selections: Largo Bay

LARGO BAY won over this course and distance last month and he should give another good account of himself off only a 3lb higher mark. He won by a neck that day off a mark of 61 under George Rooke and he retains the ride for this race. He steps up slightly in grade from a 0-60 to a 0-65 handicap but the top weight should still be involved in the finish.

Leg 6 Selections: Wholetthedogsout

This looks a tight nursery handicap to conclude the Placepot but preference goes to WHOLETTHEDOGSOUT who got off the mark last time at Ffos Las when fitted with a first time visor. The daughter of Zoustar didn’t run up to market expectations on her handicap debut at Doncaster but showed a good attitude last time to win by a short head. The handicapper has raised her 3lbs which is fair and she should prove hard to beat if the visor works for a second time.
