BAGHEERA GINGE pushed the odds-on favourite all the way when narrowly denied at Uttoxeter last month and, with further improvement likely, the Nigel Twiston-Davies-trained gelding can open his account. Victory Club hails from a top yard and commands respect on his hurdling bow, while former useful Flat performer Dreamweaver is another with claims. New Force is worth monitoring in the market on his first start for a new stable.
Prediction : 1st Bagheera Ginge 2nd Victory Club 3rd Dreamweaver

SALLEY GARDENS ran creditably from this mark over an extended 2m6f here last month but he may prove more potent dropped slightly in trip and, in a trappy event, receives a tentative selection. Cremant boasts a consistent level of form and is likely to be in the thick of things, while connections will be hoping the addition of first-time blinkers can spark some improvement in London Eye. Punxsutawney Phil shouldn't be underestimated either.
Prediction : 1st Salley Gardens 2nd Cremant 3rd London Eye

MUCUNA brought up her hat-trick in no uncertain terms at Newton Abbot and connections appear to have found their filly an ideal opportunity to extend her winning run. She sets a clear standard with an official rating of 120, so it will take a fair performance to upset the applecart. C&D scorer Mutara ought to provide a stern challenge but the remainder, headed by Flintstone, will need to step forward if they're to trouble the judge.
Prediction : 1st Mucuna 2nd Mutara 3rd Flintstone

Blaze A Trail showed improved form to win over C&D last month but he steps up in class with an added 6lb, which will make his life a lot more difficult. He can go well but preference is for STEADY THE SHIP, who is back up in trip after a third at Bangor and might be able to make his quality tell. Makety may do better after her first start of the year and is another to consider.
Prediction : 1st Steady The Ship 2nd Blaze A Trail 3rd Makety

College Oak was not at his best after failing to get to the lead at Uttoxeter, but he may have things his own way in this field so a better run is anticipated. However, FORECAST has gone well fresh before and could be the surprise package off a mark 3lb lower than his last success. Isthebaropen deserves some respect after her Uttoxeter second, though she has been competing in mares' races this season until now.
Prediction : 1st Forecast 2nd College Oak 3rd Isthebaropen

King Cnut won over C&D in 2019, off a mark of 106, and although not the same horse more recently, he does look well handicapped off 84 if he rediscovers some form. That cannot be guaranteed and this seems more likely to go to the penalised Bangor winner WHITE TURF, who had plenty in hand and can follow up under Tom Scudamore. Getaman also arrives in winning form and he might go close off 5lb higher.
Prediction : 1st White Turf 2nd Getaman 3rd King Cnut

With the third coming out and winning since, THE GALAHAD KID is fancied to follow up his Newton Abbot victory. Jack Hogan also takes off a handy 7lb and with the Fergal O'Brien team in good form, it would be a surprise if he doesn't make it 2-2 under Rules. Horse Power was beaten a long way on his debut, but he was popular in the market so clearly better was expected. Zuul is another to consider after some respectable efforts at Huntingdon.
Prediction : 1st The Galahad Kid 2nd Horse Power 3rd Zuul
