SALLEY GARDENS ran creditably from this mark over an extended 2m6f here last month but he may prove more potent dropped slightly in trip and, in a trappy event, receives a tentative selection. Cremant boasts a consistent level of form and is likely to be in the thick of things, while connections will be hoping the addition of first-time blinkers can spark some improvement in London Eye. Punxsutawney Phil shouldn't be underestimated either.

MUCUNA brought up her hat-trick in no uncertain terms at Newton Abbot and connections appear to have found their filly an ideal opportunity to extend her winning run. She sets a clear standard with an official rating of 120, so it will take a fair performance to upset the applecart. C&D scorer Mutara ought to provide a stern challenge but the remainder, headed by Flintstone, will need to step forward if they're to trouble the judge.

Isthebaropen deserves some respect after her Uttoxeter second, though she has been competing in mares' races this season until now.

King Cnut won over C&D in 2019, off a mark of 106, and although not the same horse more recently, he does look well handicapped off 84 if he rediscovers some form. That cannot be guaranteed and this seems more likely to go to the penalised Bangor winner WHITE TURF, who had plenty in hand and can follow up under Tom Scudamore. Getaman also arrives in winning form and he might go close off 5lb higher.

With the third coming out and winning since, THE GALAHAD KID is fancied to follow up his Newton Abbot victory. Jack Hogan also takes off a handy 7lb and with the Fergal O'Brien team in good form, it would be a surprise if he doesn't make it 2-2 under Rules. Horse Power was beaten a long way on his debut, but he was popular in the market so clearly better was expected. Zuul is another to consider after some respectable efforts at Huntingdon.
