Leg 1 Selection: The Vollan
THE VOLLAN is a short price in this match race against Imperial Knight but he should be able to complete a hat-trick of recent wins. The Laura Morgan trained eight-year-old has won by wide margins at Southwell on his previous two starts and he should be able to beat his sole rival who disappointed on his reappearance last time.

Leg 2 Selection: Cardboard Gangster
CARDBOARD GANGSTER has shown improved form on his second spell over fences and he should run well in this contest. He won over 3 miles at Perth in June before finding the 2m3f trip too short at Stratford on his next start when finishing 2nd. He won at Stratford over 2m6½f last time and despite running off a 5lb higher mark here, he should run well once again.

Leg 3 Selection: Carrigeen Kampala
CARRIGEEN KAMPALA has to concede weight to her five rivals in this race but the four-year-old should hold strong claims of following up her debut success at Newton Abbott. The Fergal O’Brien trained filly beat a Gordon Elliott trained odds on favourite that day comfortably by 2 ¼ lengths despite being slightly short of room late on. Liam Harrison once again claims 3lbs and she should be involved in the finish.

Leg 4 Selection: Art Of Illusion
This looks a competitive maiden hurdle but I am going to take a chance on ART OF ILLUSION who is fitted with first time cheekpieces in this race. The Warren Greatrex trained five-year-old has form figures of 2323 over hurdles in his career including when only beaten by a head at Kempton earlier this year. Caoilin Quinn, who has ridden him twice before, takes off a handy 7lbs in this race and despite having a few pounds to find on ratings he should run well once again.

Leg 5 Selection: Pisgah Pike
PISGAH PIKE showed improvement last time in first time cheekpieces and he should hold strong claims in this race off a 4lb higher mark. He had previously disappointed on his reappearance at Newton Abbott following a wind operation but bounced back to defy odds of 22/1 to win at Market Rasen a month ago showing a good attitude to win by a neck at the finish. Gavin Sheehan retains the ride and he should run well in this six-runner contest.

Leg 6 Selection: Danzini
The Keiran Burke trained DANZINI has a consistent record recently with form figures of 234221 and she should run well here off a 3lb higher mark than her win at Southwell last month. The six-year-old had placed at Taunton, Wincanton, Plumpton and Newton Abbott showing her liking for a variety of tracks before winning at Southwell last time. Both Dynamic Kate and Sheila Nash both won last time but Danzini has a more consistent profile and is the obvious selection.
