Imperial Sachin's struck over fences at Uttoxeter from well out of the handicap and is respected in pursuit of the three-timer here, while Bright Sunbird is another hat-trick seeker entitled to consideration in a fascinating race.

Gold Wing has taken to hurdling pretty well in finishing third on her first two starts in this sphere and she's expected to go close, but MASKED MATGIL has impressed in bumpers and is fancied to make a winning start over obstacles. Tom Lacey's filly was a good second at Newton Abbot on debut before getting off the mark at Uttoxeter in comfortable fashion so, if jumping with fluency, she is the one to side with. Sweet Auburn is also considered.

C&D scorer GO ON CHEZ saw his winning run come to an end when a well-held third at Uttoxeter, but this slightly shorter trip coupled with coming back down in grade could see Henry Brooke's mount return to winning ways. Flying Verse ran well when second at Stratford and although a 4lb rise makes things tougher, he's respected on just his second start since wind surgery. Creadan Grae looks interesting back over fences and isn't ruled out.

YCCS PORTOCERVO hasn't been in the best form of late, but he's beginning to look too well handicapped to ignore off 118 and a chance is taken on him to bounce back. Northern Bound was successful at Worcester in June and although he disappointed over hurdles last time, he's respected back in this sphere. Fat Sam is another who didn't really appreciate reverting to timber and he's also fancied to go well now reverting to the larger obstacles.

Horses having their first start for Dan Skelton always have to be respected, and COURTANDBOULD is fancied to improve on his recent outings and can return to winning ways. He was once rated 141 over hurdles, so off 112, he looks dangerously well handicapped and the fact he's had wind surgery only enhances his claims. Zamond was a narrow winner at Cartmel and is now 4lb higher, while the ultra-consistent Steel Wave is respected after a four-month absence.

The penny seems to have dropped for BRIDGE ROAD, who has been just denied in both starts this summer, and off a 2lb higher mark, he's fancied to gain his first victory. The form of the Uttoxeter race that One Touch won last month has worked out well but an 8lb rise dampens enthusiasm a little, while Genever Dragon is respected after a narrow defeat on his return to hurdling at Perth.
