Moojdee was a well supported favourite when third on debut at Redcar in October and is entitled to have learnt plenty from that experience. The obvious danger is Whimsy, who is chasing a hat-trick having won twice at Salisbury recently and Callum Hutchinson's 5lb claim looks sure to come in handy. This step up in trip looks ideal for Chips And Rice and any market confidence behind her would be significant.

In a competitive contest the marginal preference is for WANDERING ROCKS, who has improved with every start to date and he got off the mark in a novice race at Doncaster late last month. The son of Ulysses makes his handicap debut this evening and an opening mark of 90 should be workable, especially if he has any more improvement left to come. Asaassi failed to fire in a valuable event at Goodwood last time but he can be given another chance based on his two previous victories. Sea The Casper was not disgraced at Ascot when last seen and it would be no surprise to see him go well, while Tathbeet and Bizarre Law could also make the frame.
