Clare Hobson's six-year-old makes his return to the Flat after struggling over timber in April and, assuming he is ready to roll, he could prove tough to beat. He is rated just 3lb higher than his last winning figure, but Joe Leavy takes off a handy 7lb. Fen Tiger completes the shortlist.

JACKIE DIAMOND kept on strongly for second at Brighton on her racecourse bow in June and, given that run came over 6f, a step up to 7f could be just what she needs to go one better. Ellexis should improve following a promising debut at Ascot last month, while connections of Feyha reach for a first-time hood in an attempt to spark additional enthusiasm into their Sir Percy filly.

The application of a hood could see ALFRED COVE build on a promising second over this trip at Hamilton. He remains unexposed and with talented claimer Benoit De La Sayette taking the reins for the first time in the gelding's career, he rates a solid contender on his Polytrack and stable debut. Further improvement should not be ruled out for On Reflection, while Heartbreak Lass is another to note following an encouraging Windsor second on her racecourse bow.

The form of KENILWORTH KING's nose second on his handicap debut looks rock-solid, with the first, third and fourth from that Wolverhampton race all winning since, and he could prove tough to beat off a 2lb higher mark. Dropping back in trip should suit Luna Queen, who placed over C&D two starts ago, and she warrants respect. Shifter and Ravi Road are others to note.

Ford Madox Brown wears first-time cheekpieces as he looks to build on a number of solid efforts in defeat but he may have to settle for a supporting role again, with THAPA VC fancied to land the spoils. He got up late to win over C&D last time and looks capable of defying a 3lb rise. Papa Cocktail, Silver Dollar and Mabre add further spice to the race.

REAL ESTATE won well at Chelmsford before following up via the stewards' room over C&D, and with Rhys Clutterbuck taking 3lb off his back, he might be able to complete the hat-trick. Viewfromthestars has been knocking on the door recently and he could be in the shake-up once again, while handicap debutant Ramdon Rocks certainly isn't out of it either.
