The form of the Great St Wilfrid Handicap took a boost with Summerghand winning a valuable handicap at York last week and I am siding with the runner-up GOOD EARTH (best priced at 7/1) to reverse form with the winner Intrinsic Bond. The Michael Herrington trained five-year-old raced from 3lbs out of the handicap that day when only beaten a length and he now gets a handy weight swing with the winner in this race.
Good Earth has been running consistently well these past few months with form figures of 2312311232 and I expect him to be involved in the finish once again with up to four places available.

The George Boughey trained AIR TO AIR (best priced at 4/1) has shown his best form over this 7f trip and he comes into this race off the same mark as when only beaten a neck 13 days ago. The four-year-old has form figures of 2241102 over this trip with his 11th placed finish being when only beaten 4 ½ lengths in the Moet & Chandon International Stakes at Ascot on his penultimate start.
Air To Air had previously won on his reappearance at Yarmouth before finishing only a neck behind The Attorney at Doncaster on his latest start under 7lb claimer Taylor Fisher. Sam James now takes over on the gelding and I expect him to prove hard to beat off the same mark.

This looks a competitive 0-75 handicap with the top three in the market all winning last time out but preference goes to the Chris Wall trained COMMANDER HECTOR (best priced at 15/8). The three-year-old showed very little on his first three career starts when sent off 125/1, 22/1 and 50/1 before dead heating on his handicap debut earlier this month off a mark of 67.
Commander Hector stayed on well late on to force the dead heat that day over 1m2f shaping like this step up in trip to 1m4f would suit him well. Hollie Doyle shows a profit when riding for the yard (5 winners from 23 rides) so she is a notable booking and I expect him to prove hard to beat in this race.
