Kingman filly CELL SA BEELA showed more than enough on debut to suggest she can win this. She found all bar a smart prospect and a filly with more experience too good that day but was keeping on nicely in the closing stages. She should know a lot more now and this looks a good opportunity. Canadiansmokeshow ran yesterday so is unlikely to take up her engagement here so that would leave Mawada as the main danger. She also finished third on debut at Ayr but given the price she was sent off I think she needed that. She should have a future but I think the selection has the greater potential of the pair. Creatively was pretty clueless when only sixth on debut and might need more time and experience. Fox Flame is the more interesting of the two debutants but the market should reveal her chance.

The way GROCER JACK got the job done at Newbury on just his second start was impressive and he didn’t do a lot wrong bumping into Annmaat at Haydock last time. He remains a horse with considerable potential and I can see him getting back on track here. He is a big horse so should have plenty of improvement in him and this looks easier than that last assignment. Majestic Dawn is talented himself but obviously more exposed than the selection. He will be dangerous if granted a soft lead but at the same time I think he might help set it up for the selection. Of the rest Achelois impressed with how she got on top late at York but that was at Listed level so she will need to keep improving to take a hand here. Regal Reality is also noted but usually pulls his chance away and isn’t getting any younger.
