Even the form of her Chepstow second last month stands up to the closest of scrutiny and she is narrowly preferred to Lovely Breeze, who has shown enough ability in recent starts to suggest a win could be near. Proven on this ground, Zero Carbon is another to note as he looks to bounce back to form, while Cashew cannot be underestimated either.

Fellow three-year-old Maksud arrives with similar claims following a strong effort in a Goodwood handicap, while the lightly-raced Injazati could also have a say in proceedings. Two-time winner of this event Desert Encounter is not out of things either.

With a strong gallop all but guaranteed by the top-rated individuals in the field, the value may lie with recent Listed winner ACHELOIS, who likes to come from off the pace and nearly pulled off similar tactics in a strong renewal of the John Smith's Cup. Grocer Jack may be clear on ratings but he must bounce back from a relatively disappointing effort when favourite at Haydock, whereas Majestic Dawn was narrowly denied a first success in Group company at Deauville.
