Given LUNA MAGIC won this last year off a 6lb higher mark and she comes here on a hat-trick I don’t really see why she isn’t shorter than 7/2. She looks to have plenty going for her and that form beating Sly Madam at Salisbury last time looks very solid. She is a strong travelling mare and she will be ridden quietly before looking to pick them off. Her rivals have plenty of questions to answer with perhaps the main danger being Gert Lush. She found all bar Nine Elms too strong at Nottingham and a repeat of that would see her competitive here. Silastar was only fifth at Epsom last time but that is a race that has worked out well since and he will find this easier. Alyara impressed winning at Ffos Las but she was turned over at odds-on at Chepstow last time so needs to bounce back form that to trouble the selection.
