He needs to bounce back from a below-par run at the same track last time. Rick Dalton had a subsequent winner back in third when pipped in a Tipperary maiden and there was nothing wrong with his handicap debut second at Naas the time before. Allihies may prefer a bit more juice in the ground but his fourth at Galway is solid handicap form and he's unexposed.

After a modest debut effort, ASTELIA was sent off 40/1 at the Curragh a little over a week ago but ran a cracker to chase home the 85-rated favourite Smooth Tom. If the Sea The Stars filly goes forward from that run, she can go one better. Samuel Pepys had Lizzy's Filly back in third when runner-up over an extended mile at Galway. He stuck to his task quite well up the hill and may appreciate going back up in trip. Prophets Voice has earned his mark in handicaps and ran well behind a filly who was completing a hat-trick at Ballinrobe. Cheekpieces are fitted and might eke out some more improvement. Saturn Five was first home in a 7f barrier trial last month and is tongue-tied on debut.
