I’m going to take a chance on SHANDY STAR bouncing back here for Roger Fell. This filly by Cotai Glory improved a chunk to win at Pontefract back in June and the fourth Secret Angel won next time out to give that form some substance. She could only finish fifth on nursery debut next time looking a bit outpaced but progressed again to get herself back in the winners enclosure over C&D last month. That was a career best given the way she ran on at the finish and how well the second looked to be going at one stage during that race. She has been beaten at York since but just looked a bit out of her depth and so back in these calmer waters she could prove the one to beat. Coco Jack has already won 3 times and certainly wasn’t disgraced when fourth at Goodwood last time so looks the obvious threat. Jungle Time is down another 1lb and is another one to note.
